Each child must have a filled out audition form to participate in the production.
Please bring a water bottle and a small snack with you to class.
Wear clothes that are easy to sit on the floor and move around in.
We will teach a selection of songs from the show, as well as some movement and the students will audition with their selection the following week.

AUDITION PROCESS:
The first day of rehearsal we will be meeting everyone and beginning our audition process. You will also need to fill out an audition form. This helps us know your schedule, cast around any planned absences and know which parts/placement is desired.
Please include all known conflicts at this time.
Every student in the show must fill out and submit an Audition Form.

EXTRA CREDIT AUDITION (optional):
Please prepare 1 minute of a song to sing on the first day. Audition songs will be sung to an instrumental/karaoke track. (No words)

In the event that your cast member is unable to attend class on the day of auditions, you may send us 1 minute audition video singing a song, with an instrumental/karaoke track. Please do not have them sing with another vocalist on the track. You may send your video to: jtaylor.caa@gmail.com.
All who enroll in the production will be cast in the show. Auditions are used to determine placement of parts.
WEEK ONE:
The movement combination will be danced in small groups of 3 to 5. The vocal auditions will be sung solo.
Doing a solo audition is not required. However, opting out will result in lack of consideration for a larger role.
We will be taking a break or 2 during our class time. Please pack a nutritious snack to help the kids keep their focus and energy. We do not allow the kids to drink anything but water during class time. Our water fountain has a filtered water bottle refill station so they will be able to refill their water as needed.
