Malinda Asbury

Malinda discovered her love and passion for dance at the age of 4 at Cynthia Merrill School of Performing Arts. Since then, she has studied various styles of dance through a variety of dance masters around Fresno. Malinda attended Bullard Talent, where she became interested in teaching and choreographing. After graduating from Roosevelt School of the Arts, she continued her dance education at CSU San Jose, where she received her B.A. in Dance. Se has studied a variety of styles, including modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet, Latin dance, and capoeria. During her time at San Jose State, Malinda performed with Mantaceros, a prominent salsa team in the bay area. After her graduation, she relocated to Fresno and began teaching, performing and choreographing for Good Company Players. Malinda is a tap, jazz, and hip-hop teacher for California Arts Academy.
