Miriam Ouassou
Hi, My name is Miriam Ouassou. I am an artist from Fresno California, majoring in fine art. I use all mediums and explore all subjects and do not like to limit myself in my art process, but I am especially interested in portraiture. I have experience working in art galleries, teaching art courses, drawing live portraits, painting murals, and often do commissions. Eventually I intend to use my experience and education to become an art therapist.

PAINTING/DRAWING - Our drawing classes focus on elements of line, composition, proportion, spatial relationships, perspective, volume, foreshortening, value, texture, and light and shadow. Students explore visual perception and learn how to record what they observe. Miss Linda “draws” from her years of expertise and guides her students to make choices and fill a page. Our NEWEST teacher, Miss Miriam, paints murals and shows her students that no "canvas" is too big to express themselves upon.

MANGA - Anime or Manga is a Japanese style of cartoons and comics. This art form is easily recognised by large expressive eyes and dramatic character expressions. Take class with Miss Miriam as she helps create characters and inspires with her vivid imagination.
